Job Description:

Responsible for job processes both formal and informal, some layout and computer graphics, test requests, basic plotting, basic engineering skills, task oriented. Must learn Company and the way business is conducted.
  • Responsible for air management exhausts manifolds and exhaust piping-Unit Index 14-B and 15D
  • Document design initiatives via PCR process and supply necessary documentation.
  • Work with current suppliers and future suppliers to assure quality.
  • Develop and maintain workplans and BOMs that support the CEO cost/quality/delivery.
  • Prepare 8Ds and 6-panel documents to support failure analysis activity.
  • Support quality initiatives with timely documentation.
  • Interface with manufacturing to help develop world-class processes that guarantee world-class.
  • Support design reviews and QVP gate reviews with appropriate documentation.
  • Deliver prototype orders, control plans and prototype drawings to purchasing in time to support prototype engine build.


Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years related diesel/automotive engine related experience.

  • Knows and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures to engineering work.

  • Follow processes to achieve targets and goals.

  • Working level experience with personal computers for data analysis, reporting.

  • Demonstrates professional image to customers.

  • Develop cross-unit and customer relationships.

  • Work within the measurement system.

  • Demonstrates written communication skills.

  • Under supervision and with direct instructors, performs routine work that is varied and that may be somewhat difficult in character, but usually involved limited responsibility.

  • Works with some degree of evaluation, originality or ingenuity.

  • Detailed knowledge of Company and products.

  • Familiarity with robust engineering principles.
